Live waiting times for urgent care services can now be seen on the QE Hospital website.
This will not only help people know how long they may need to wait before being seen at both the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Blaydon Urgent Treatment Centre, but also help them get a better understanding of what mgiht be the best option for them.

Minor Injuries (such as sprains and fractures)
Minor Illnesses (non-urgent medical conditionsthat are not life-threatening but require medical attention within 24 hours)
Emergency Medicine (for the most-life threatening and serious conditions)
Please remember that you should only come to the Emergency Care Centre if you need urgent medical attention.
