Over the past three weeks terror attacks in both Manchester and London have sent shockwaves across the world and now a popular Newcastle nightclub is doing its bit for victims of both.
Times Square club Digital is opening their doors for a special fundraising night on Friday, June 16, with money from entry, bar profits and a charity raffle all going to the emergency funds set up by The British Red Cross society after the May 22 attack at a sell out Ariana Grande concert in Manchester Arena claimed 22 lives and another less than two weeks later in London, killed eight.
Announcing the event on their Facebook page, Digital said: "With the help of local promoters - Big Bad Robot, voodoo, Motion, Apex, Stageone and Jungle we are opening our doors to show Newcastle's support towards those affected by the tragic, heartbreaking and evil attacks we have seen in Manchester and London.
"Let the music bring us together, let us remember those lost and affected, let's stand strong and make some beautiful memories."
Revellers are set to enjoy an eclectic mix of music, with more than 20 of Newcastle's RnB, House , Indie, Disco and Trance DJs taking to the decks to entertain.
And raffle prizes, which will be confirmed this week, are set to enjoy money can't buy prizes from Metro Radio and Newcastle Eagles as well as prizes from local bars and restaurants.
