Meet Newcastle Dog Cafe's Furry Family As Dog and Scone Residents Are Revealed

We can finally introduce you to the six waggy wonders who'll be a Dog and Scone within weeks

Newcastle's very first dog cafe opens within weeks, and it's set to be pup paradise for dog lovers.

Owners Shi Shi and Rainbow Noi are busy putting the finishing touches to Dog and Scone, where soon you'll be able to have cakes, coffees and teas while you put the resident poodles, pugs and corgis.

The cafe, which has a forest theme, will have all six of the Newcastle couple's dogs on paw patrol every day, and there's also a doggie rest room which has food, beds, drink and a toilet inside, just in case the dogs want some personal space and time away from their adoring public.

Shi Shi said all the dogs have check-ups regularly at Vet4Pet, as well as regular baths and pampering grooming sessions every six to eight weeks.

If you're hoping to take your own pooches along, visiting dogs are not allowed in the cafe.

Shi Shi said: "We can't make sure our resident dogs and visiting dogs will get on well with each other. All dogs are back home with us every night where they can play in the garden."

All being well, the furry family will be getting ready to welcome first customers into the cafe on Pudding Chare, right next to the city's first cat cafe Mog on the Tyne, at the end of the month and they're eager to meet all their fans!

SO now's your chance to meet the doggie family!
