Pet Shop Boys to perform for one night in Gateshead - Here's how to get tickets

The pair are returning to Sage Gateshead where they last performed as part of the building's 10th birthday celebrations.
The Pet Shop Boys are returning to the North East and a venue which Neil Tennant once described as one of his favourite in Europe.
The celebrated masters of electronic pop - North Shields-born Tennant and Chris Lowe, from Blackpool - will perform what they describe as "an exclusive one-night performance" at Sage Gateshead as part of their iternational Super Tour.
It will take place on Saturday, September 2, 2017.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 19 at 10am from Ticketmaster here.
Pet Shop Boys signed to Parlophone Records in 1985 and have since notched up 42 top 20 singles in the UK. These includes 22 top 10 hits and four number ones.
The pair have released 13 studio albums and all of which have made the UK top 10.
They received the Ivor Novello Award for an outstanding ontribution to British music in 2000 and a Brit Award for an outstanding contribution to music in 2009.
It augurs well for a gig when a performer loves a concert hall and Neil Tennant said of the Sage: "It always feels special to come home and perform a show and the Sage has established itself in the last 10 years as one of Europe's very best venues for all genres of music."
Sage Gateshead opened in December 2004.
The current Pet shop Boys is in support of super, their 13th studio album which was released last year on April 1 and debuted at number three in the UK albums chart.
The Super Tour started in October last year with dates in the USA, Canada, Germany, Holland, Denmark and Russia.
As well as songs from the new album, Pet Shop Boys have been performing hits from the past 30 years.
The duo will arrive in Gateshead after a brief break, having played Brussels Summer Festival and just ahead of a trip to Dublin, where they have two gigs lined up and then an arrangement at Bestival in Dorset.
Then it's off South America with an opening gig at Rock In Rio, Rio De Janeiro.
The Gateshead gigis one of only five UK dates on Pet Shop Boys' the other being in Blackpool, Nottingham, Henley-on-Thames and Brighton.
